Distraction

How easily are we distracted from God's purpose and plan for our life?
Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Event by Event....

The answer really depends on how much we let Satan influence our lives. After just coming back from a Kenneth Copeland Believer's 2010 Conference, which was just tremendous, the distractions and attacks started. Being able to meet with representatives of Canaan Land Ministries, trying to get information on opening up a center here in Connecticut was a big step in my walk. Following His direction each day, moving forward to hop feet first into God's plan for my life.

During the conference, the distractions started, and most of them revolved around financials that would be needed to start the Canaan Land Ministry. Financial issues with the our business, financial issues with our car, financial issues with the roof. A pickup truck coming at me head on after volunteering at the prison. The one good thing we can count on is that Satan always
makes himself so ridiculously apparent, that we know where the attacks are coming from.

Thank God that we are able to recognize his attacks!
And if we can recognize them, then we know how to conquer them.
We conquer them with the WORD!

  • The Blessing of the Lord--it makes (truly) rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (neither does toiling increase it). Proverbs 10:22
  • To the end that through (their receiving) Christ Jesus, the blessing promised to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might (all) receive (the realization) of the promise of the (Holy Spirit). Galatians 3:14
  • For we, through the Holy Spirit's (help), by faith anticipate and wait for the blessing and good for which our righteousness and right standing with God (our conformity to His will in purpose, though and action causes us to hope.
  • Now to Him Who, by the (action of His) power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and) do superabundantly, far over and above all that we (dare) ask or think (infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams) Ephesians 3:20

So how easily are we distracted?

The real answer is how much are we immersing ourselves in the Word?
